Back when Hewlett and Packard were puttering in that Palo Alto garage, they weren't thinking computers or peripherals or anything of the sort. They were thinking test equipment, which is how product #1—an audio analyzer—came to be.
Fast forward seven decades and HP was spinning off its test and measurement equipment division as Agilent. One product category that HP and Agilent (and now Keysight) does really well is the oscilloscope. Scopes are like family at Agilent--which is why we created the scope family brochure to tell customers more about each member and the entire clan's history. Customers love it as the one reference they can use to compare all instruments and accessories, and rekindle memories.
